2020 Legislative Session

This year UHPP was tracking a long list of health care bills, from addressing skyrocketing drug costs to improving Medicaid coverage for children, to expanding family planning services and addressing low-value care in our system.

During the 2020 session we kept you informed and asked for your support on many important issues:

 

HB38 Substance Use and Health Care (signed into law March 28th!)

 

SB74 – Family Planning Services (Held by House HHS Committee

 

HB207 Insulin Access (signed into law March 30th!)

 

Hb210 – Continuous Eligibility for Kids (moved to an appropriations request, partially FUNDED)

 

HB313Telehealth Parity Amendments (signed into law March 24th)

 

HB456 and HB457 Surprise medical billing solutions (never got a committee hearing)

 

 


Where did everything else land?
