UHPP created the Utah Medicaid Partnership to help ensure that the Utah Medicaid program provides access to quality, affordable and comprehensive health care coverage to eligible Utahns.

The UMP’s mission is to ensure that Utah’s Medicaid program provides access to quality, health care coverage to those in need.  Over 50 individuals and organizations have participated in UMP over the last year.  As a collation we have successfully advocated for a strong, cost-effective Medicaid program by helping Utah policy leaders understand the complexities of how Medicaid works, the impact of proposed benefit, provider and eligibility cuts, and changes occurring.

UMP meets monthly during the year and weekly during the legislative session.
