Utah Business Group on Health (UBGH)

Too many Utah small businesses face skyrocketing costs and unpredictable premiums, lack of access to affordable coverage and choice among health plans, and administrative inconvenience and hassle.  Health reform specifically addresses these barriers for small businesses—the engine of our economy. 

To further the interests of small businesses in the reform discussions, UBGH:

• Educates small business owners about the nuts and bolts of federal and state health reforms from a small business perspective through regular conference calls and factsheets
  
  
• Works with the business community, to ensure Utah’s exchange is robust and provides real solutions for Utah small businesses
  
  
• Makes sure small businesses have a voice in the reform process through the Small Business Owners Speak Up Storybank and interactive forums with local Chambers of Commerce.
