Danyelle Evans has been in dentistry for over 20 years, the last 15 as a Registered Dental Hygienist.

She serves on the national level as the State Rep for the Oral Health Progress and Equity Network (OPEN), on the state level as the Utah Oral Health Coalition Co-Chair Elect, and locally on health advisory boards and within her professional association.

One of her proudest accomplishments is her volunteer work as the current Legislative Chair of the Utah Dental Hygienists’ Association (UDHA) and leading her committee through the successful passage of direct access legislation in Utah, which allows vulnerable populations direct access to preventive care from a dental hygienist and access to a teleconnected team.

When not speaking about vulnerable populations, teledentistry, place-based care, and legislation; she works clinically at her alma mater and runs Mobile Dental Hygiene of St. George, providing oral healthcare for every season of life.
